About
What Is Family Treatment Court?
A Family Treatment Court is a court-supervised program coupled with intensive treatment and supervision with the mission to stop abuse of drugs and alcohol, while at the same time, preserving and/or reuniting families through a collaborative effort. We strive to provide community protection with a cost effective, integrated, continuum of care through community resources. Family Treatment Court will hold participants accountable and assist in maintaining safe, stable housing for their family and in achieving long-term stability to become productive citizens and successful members of the community.
This is a voluntary program that includes regular court appearances before the designated Family Treatment Court Judge. It also involves drug and alcohol treatment, random drug testing, support group meetings, educational classes and community supervision.
